Who we are

ECPro s.r.o. ("we", "our" or "us") is the operator of the SAFLIFER mobile application and the data controller responsible for your personal data.

What data we collect

We only collect the data we need to run SAFLIFER and keep the community safe:

• Account data – your email address, nickname, an optional age and an optional profile photo. When you sign in with Google or Apple we receive a basic profile and a secure identifier from that provider.
• Authentication identifiers – internal account IDs and a Firebase authentication identifier used to sign you in securely.
• Location data – your chosen home city and country, and your device location (approximate and precise). Location is used in the foreground and, if you allow it, in the background to alert you about nearby risks. Your latest location point may be sent to our servers so we can target these alerts.
• Content you create – reports (category, description, optional photos and the location of the report), comments and votes. Reports can be submitted anonymously.
• Device and notification data – a push-notification token and your notification preferences (radius, city alerts, on/off).
• Purchase data – records of in-app purchases and subscriptions, validated through Google Play or the App Store.

How we use your data

• To create and manage your account and sign you in.
• To show reports near you and send safety alerts based on your location and notification settings.
• To let you create, view and interact with reports, comments and votes.
• To moderate content and keep the community safe.
• To process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (providing the app); your consent (device location and push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time); our legitimate interests (community safety and content moderation); and compliance with legal obligations.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, and only as needed:

• Google – Firebase Authentication and Firebase Cloud Messaging (sign-in and push notifications), and Google Maps / Places (maps and address search).
• Apple and Google – to validate in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Other users – reports you create may be visible to other users on the map, according to your anonymity setting for each report.
• We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of people using SAFLIFER.

SAFLIFER does not use advertising, analytics or crash-tracking software development kits.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Reports are time-limited and expire automatically.

When you delete your account, we permanently delete your data as described on our Delete account page. A limited amount of information may be retained where the law requires it (for example, transaction records).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by emailing support@saflifer.com. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Security

All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. We use access controls and industry-standard measures to protect your data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

SAFLIFER is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use the app.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "last updated" date above.
